Meet San Jose Endodontist Dr. Vandan Kasar
Dr. Vandan Kasar earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). She went on to complete a General Practice Residency an worked as a general dentist for 1 year before completing Endodontics Residency at the University of Southern California (USC), there, she developed advanced expertise in microscopic and surgical endodontics.
Dr. Kasar is a member of the American Association of Endodontists and is Board-eligible with the American Board of Endodontics. She is passionate about patient-centered care, evidence-based dentistry, and preserving natural teeth through modern endodontic techniques.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Kasar enjoys spending time with her husband, their son, and their feisty chihuahua
We have a team that has developed a state-of-the-art endodontic facility, including digital radiography, 3D imaging (CBCT) and surgical microscopy. Our caring and skilled staff provide an excellent environment for conventional endodontics with NiTi rotary instruments, as well as surgical techniques (apicoectomies) with ultrasonic and MTA/bioceramic retrofillings.
